Hot from the catwalk, the cut of the season looked effortlessly fresh and cool on the Autumn/Winter 2014-2015 runways. It’s simply entitled “the lob”.

The lob is basically a longer version of the classic bob. The back sits on the top of the shoulders, and the sides drop towards the front to frame the face. Layering is kept to a minimum to ensure a solid definite edge is maintained.

Jerry Hall has become the first “It” woman for L’Oreal Professionel. The models that will be used in the “it” collections will all be well known faces from the fashion world.

Approximately 25 centimetres were cut from Jerry’s legendary hair. Her colour was richened to a soft golden blonde using INOA Supreme. Golden Blonde can be very flattering on mature women who are keen to stay Blonde, since it is chic and brings a special vibrancy and tone to their hair colour.

Speaking about her new “Lob”, “It” woman Jerry says “I love it! The cut is really modern. You know at a certain age, it is good to change your hair! It makes you look and feel younger.”

We at Colm Morrissey Hair Studio have been very inspired by “the Lob” and some other looks from the “It” Collections, which I will talk about in the coming weeks!
