I have been dyeing my hair for years now, but lately it has started to not take the colour at the roots, which are getting greyer, and my colour is now getting too dark on the ends! What can I do about this problem? Is there a home colour I can use to solve this?
It sounds like your Grey (White hair) has started to become resistant to some colourants. This is quite common but must be treated professionally in a salon. The dark colour would first need to be removed from the ends, and then a professional colourant suitable for resistant grey hair would be applied.
This is why we train for so many years. So go ahead and treat yourself, have it done professionally!
